I usually dont remove the plastic that comes witn any equipment some times for years. But when I got the phone the salesman took it out the box to show me how the applicattions works and he took the plastic that comes on the phone screen. That would it saved me $12.00 on this Anti-glare Screen Proctector.
T-Mobile HTC HD2 ClearTouch Anti-Glare Screen Protector (Single Pack) is good although I think is too expensive for just a single pack.

after trying 4 or 5 different screen protectors of varying price and brand, this one is the one that fits the HD2 perfectly.
caution: when applying this screen guard, be very careful during alignment. it’s cut so precisely that getting it aligned is a real PITA. it is also difficult to remove the protective cellophane layer prior to installation… just be patient so as to not bend/crease the protector and thus ruining it.
compared to others, it bonds more strongly to the screen, is more optically clear thus not needing a cutaway over the ambient light sensor, and covers ALL of the glass due to its precise cut. most of all, the edges dont try to peel up after a day or so.
there is no better screen guard on the market as there simply cannot be… it cannot be cut any more exact or be more optically clear. it can only be challenged by price. the only way it wont fit is if you muck it up during the installation. it took me 8 or 9 tries, peeling it back and reapplying, to get it aligned right.
just a hint: for those of us without dust-free environments for application, use a paper towel to clean the surface with glass cleaner before applying. once properly aligned, if you notice any dust, lint, etc. use a piece of scotch tape to lift the protector from the corner nearest the trapped lint, only just enough, then use a second piece of tape, inverted, and slide it between the screen and protector to grab the lint. the tape will not adhere to the “sticky” side of the screen protector… only the lint/dust.
for the less intelligent: yes, the screen is glass, but despite popular belief, glass can be scratched/etched by much more than just diamonds.
